A child needs a father and a mother
Does the mistakes of their parents is their fault too?

Certainly no!
But why are they the one who suffers?

Dear Wendy,
I saw your picture in the webpage of your Ate Michelle, your cousin. She probably missing you so I decided to write an open letter. I know your too young to understand it but still I made it for you so when you grow up, you'll know the truth about the break-up of your mom and dad.
Your parents met through Internet. They fell in love to each other and both plan to arrange their marriage. Your mom, having dual citizenship, Chinese-Filipino, went here in the Philippines to marry your dad. After the marriage, both went to Hong Kong for good.
How happy your dad when your mom get pregnant.Why? This is because of all of his 3 child, it was you who will see him. You're actually the third child of your dad. All was first born. You have two half-brother. We don't see them.
Because of excitement, he invited us to see your mom giving birth to you. Me, my daughter Michelle and your grandmom stay there in Hong Kong for 14 days but sad to say, you didn't came out on time expected. We went back to the Philippines without seeing you. You were born the same evening we left
Your dad take good care of you when your mom is in the office. How worried he is if you got ill. He'll gonna make overseas call to us to ask what are good medication he should give you. Your dad loves you very much. He became your dad and mom at the same time. It was your dad who saw the first thing you've done from babyhood.
We still remember your first birthday celebration here in the Philippines. We're so happy seeing you for the first time. Maybe, the last time we will see you because your parents are separated now.
I made this letter to protect the personality of your dad to any misconception you will heard someday.
Your dad did not forsaken his family. He's very diligent. The only thing worst to his personality is being a niggard. I'm not telling you this because he is my brother, the youngest, but because he is truly a good man .
We don't want to meddle in their relationship. We really don't know what happen. One thing for sure, your dad tried to save their relationship because of you. He doesn't want a broken family. He told us that he won't leave your home so when you grow-up, you won't ask him why he left you and your mom. It was your mom who left your dad.
We will be missing you so much, our dear little angel who laughs and cries if his dad don't allow you to speak with us. We will be missing your little voice. Your daddy daddy talk to tatay ( your grandfather) and your tita tita though we don't understand what you are talking. Our little tyrant. You made us happy even for a short time. We're just hoping someday, you will be with us to share laughters. We do hope that your mom would teach and up-bring you as a good Christian, a Filipina at heart who value family relations.
We love you so much and will be missing you little one.
